COLLEGE MEN’S SOCCER: Oakland headlines All-Horizon League postseason honors

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League revealed its All-Horizon League postseason honors Saturday. Each of the All-League awards are voted on by the Horizon League’s head coaches. 


Cleveland State forward Bojan Kolevski won Player of the Year honors, while fellow Vikings star Matteo Correia took home Freshman of the Year honors. Oakland University’s Alex Flowers was awarded Goalkeeper of the Year, Wright State’s Cole Werthmuller earned Offensive Player of the Year and Green Bay’s So Nishikawa collected Defensive Player of the Year.

 

The Sportsmanship Awards went to Milwaukee’s David Cox and Oakland’s Jace Foster, while Paul Doroh of Oakland was voted as the League’s Coach of the Year.
