BOYS SOCCER
Â
XENIA, Ohio – A total of 43 student-athletes earned All-America honors from the National Christian Schools Athletic Association Fall Boys Soccer National Tournament held recently in Xenia, Ohio.
Â
The annual NCSAA national tournament holds its fall boys soccer championships each fall somewhere in the Midwest. This year’s event was held at the Athletes In Action Sports Complex, attracting small Christian schools and Christian home school teams from more than 20 states.
Â
Coaches were asked to submit a series of names and player profiles from their respective teams based on their play in the regular season and various state tournaments leading up to the NCSAA national tournament, with players being formally voted on for their play this season and at the national tournaments.
Â
Two Michigan Christian high schools competed at the event, Hastings Barry County Christian and Kent City Algoma Christian. Barry County Christian finished with a No. 10 ranking for the 2024 campaign, while Algoma Christian ranked 23rd after the national tournament.
Â
Selected to the team included the Hastings Barry County Christian trio of Keygan Robinson (senior forward), Noah Lilley (senior goalkeeper) and Johnny Hawkes (senior center back), as well as Kent City Algoma Christian’s Lucas Brown (senior forward).
