SHELBY TWP., Mich. – Do you want more exposure? Do you want more avenues to promote your game? Are college scouts looking for a diamond in the rough?

The Premier Media Group and the Michigan Soccer Network, founded in 2022, have some more answers to those questions.

Beginning in mid-March 2024, MSN will launch its newest division: MSN Player Recruitment Videos. In early 2024, MSN incorporated a team of videographers under its growing umbrella that aims to be a centralized hub for Michigan soccer-related news, information, broadcasts, recruiting and more.

With over 450 high school girls soccer teams, more than 500 high school boys soccer teams, around 230 clubs and recreational programs existing across the state of Michigan and the thousands of age-group programs all fielding teams at various levels of the Michigan soccer pyramid, many rising stars and prospects want to get their name out there in front of as many coaches and scouts as possible with the hopes of continuing their soccer careers after high school graduation.

“This is another service that MSN will offer,” said Jonathan Turner, Director of Broadcasting for the Premier Media Group and the Michigan Soccer Network. “We understand that college scouts can’t be everywhere at every single game, ID camp and showcase event. The one thing they want to see is more video. This will be another option for players and their parents. This will be a quality service and parents will have different options to choose from with this service.

“Our programs are designed for every player's needs and budgets. Whether you already have a video and want more exposure or need to start from scratch. The Michigan Soccer Network is ready to help you get to where you want to go,” added Turner.

This will be another avenue for youth players wanting to play at the next level – being various levels of collegiate soccer (NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, USCAA, NCCAA and NJCAA), amateur soccer leagues in the spring and summer months, players wishing to join various levels of club soccer or for players wishing to switch clubs in the future.

There will be multiple packages available to parents or guardians and players to choose from and information can be found on the Michigan Soccer Network home page. Just click on red Highlight Videos tab (michigansoccernetwork.com/highlightsvideos) near the top of the page and follow the prompts.

-The basic plan will be to register and submit 15 video clips and a highlight video with quality graphics will be compiled for parents and players to send out to college scouts at various levels. Cost is $199.

-The bonus plan will be to register and submit 16-30 videos, or in some cases more video clips, and a highlight video with quality graphics will be compiled for parents and players to send out to college scouts at various levels. The PRV staff will also aid the highlight videos to be sent out to college coaches across the state and beyond. Cost is $299.

Interested candidates can also create a Player Profile Page on the MSN website to post videos, photos, postseason awards and accomplishments at the high school and club levels, athlete bio information such as name, grade, positions played, hometown, high school, club grade-point-average and college test scores, future major and minor interests, other sports played and other notable information on each student-athlete.

If you need a professional videographer to come out and shoot a club or high school game, please submit that information and MSN will try to provide that service as well.

Have questions regarding MSN’s Player Recruitment Videos division and platform, fill out the on-line form or call (248) 617-7715.

Your journey starts with a click.
