Is this parent overreach of the highest levels? Did we all really believe that parents stopped being parents when their son or daughter reached the highest levels of their sport? Probably not, but for a former player and captain of the USMNT Claudio Reyna of all people should understand what goes into making decisions about playing on the USMNT. The decision to step in and say something is a questionable, but understandable one for most parents, but to try and use past dirt to get your son more playing time is unfathomable.
