Auburn Hills, Michigan– The Avondale Girls Soccer program has a new head head Coach in Kat O'Shea. Kat who has been with Liverpool FC for six years takes over the girls program recently vacated by current boys head coach Nick Stravropoulos. Avondale Athletic Director Kenny O'Shaughnessy said " We are very excited to have Kat lead the Yellow Jackets starting this spring, and look forward to her doing great things"!
Kat began playing soccer competitively at a young age, receiving All-League recognition as a high school player. She began her college soccer career at Northwood University before transferring to Michigan State University. She has coached for various LFC International Academy locations in Michigan.
20+ years involved in competitive soccer
Six seasons as a LFC Michigan coach working Mini Reds and Reds Junior Academy programs, as well as travel teams.
Bachelors Degree from Michigan State University
